有人说，人人身上都是一个时代。我耸耸瘦瘦的肩胛，以沙哑的嗓门诉说着泛黄的记忆。独自上演的，不是一个传奇，只是一段被遗忘的故事。你听，时间正滴答地穿梭在生活的缝隙中。你我共通的回忆，就存在墙瓦间的作息之声。播放一出儿时的戏，一起重返记忆庄园，召唤出暗涌的抵御力量。
Once upon a windy day, I saw an old man carrying a heavy load on his one ‘senget’ shoulder. I asked myself, “Why is his shoulder ‘senget’?” I asked the old man and then……
I questioned my existence.
This is a story of me the child, me the teenager and me the drummer in Kuala Lumpur.
“鼓”能擊出原始的聲音，我們如何能用它如此容易貼近人的特性去講述一個故事呢？當鼓被置放在劇場裡時，它也許能找到自己的這一種能力。我們於是把它稱為‘鼓劇場’。人人人鼓劇場以“鼓”探討劇場的可能性，同時以“劇場”重新定義“鼓”的藝術價值。 ‘獨角戲'正是一部符合這個探索方向的作品。作品結合鼓樂，肢體與劇場元素，讓觀眾擁有一個視聽覺感官的藝術體驗。
The performance is a mixture of three different art disciplines - percussion, theatre, and physical movement. By stimulating the audience’s senses of hearing and seeing, this piece tries to bring the audience into the atmosphere of “Hidup ini senget”.
